Bill Porter, physically challenged Watkins salesman: “There are no obstacles in life. Only challenges.”

Russ Johnston, author of ‘God Can Make It Happen’: “God doesn’t promise a trouble-free life, but He will turn your troubles into multiplied blessings as you exercise your faith.”

Norman Vincent Peale, author of Positive Thinking: “Every great thing you have or ever will be is within you. You just need to release it. Affirm that it is within you, then visualize it as coming into being.”

Suzan-Lori Parks, Playwright: “I realized that my circumstances, while causing me despair and heartbreak, also held great possibility, if only I could see it. Instead of waiting for the perfect opportunity, I should see that every opportunity is perfect. Difficulty creates the opportunity for self-reflection. If we embrace what’s happening, we are also embracing what is possible–and a road opens up for God to meet us halfway.”

Rick Warren, author of ‘The Purpose-Driven Life’: “Forgotten experiences of pain, or failure, are worthless. Only in hindsight do we understand how God intended a problem for good.”
